Better for the planet.

When we talk about all things products, our first goal is to be as transparent as possible.
Lack of transparency is sooo 2015. We’re committed to making clothes with a smaller environmental impact in places that treat workers well. So, when it comes to choosing where we make our clothes, we look at a number of different factors - innovation, quality, price, speed, reduced environmental impact, and working conditions for the people in the facility. Our goal: Finding the right partners that share a common vision to be able to close the fashion loop.
These are our partners, commitments & plans in 2021 and beyond:

Our goal
Swedish Fall's Vision: Den Kreislauf schließen.

We all leave an impact on the planet, so we should all play a part in cleaning up our footprint: The fashion industry is obsessed with creating latest styles made from the best materials - But some of these create significant environmental problems. We are committed to use materials that don’t - until we have found a solution to make new out of old.

In order to hit our sustainability goals in 2021, we expand our product selection with three new low impact materials. Firstly, a new performance and active collection made from recycled water bottles (Post-Consumer Recycled Polyester). Secondly, our current and new lounge collections made with organic cotton. And last but not least, introducing new collections made from bamboo fibre. By the end of 2022, we want to have moved 90% of our materials to recycled materials and better fabric alternatives.

Recycled Polyester

Did you know almost all synthetic activewear is made from plastic? Nearly half of the world’s clothing is made of polyester. Many athleisure brands are in need for stretchy, more resistant garments for their products. The problem: Polyester is not a sustainable textile option, as it is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the most common type of plastic in the world. In short, the majority of all athleisure clothes come from crude oil, while the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is calling for drastic actions to keep the world’s temperature to a maximum of 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels. Not okay - not what we want - not what we will support.

That’s why decided to step up the game and shifted our production to 100% recycled plastic made from post-consumer bottles. Read more...

Organic Cotton

In addition to being one of the most widely grown crops in the world, growing conventional cotton is also one of the most chemical-intensive. These chemicals have tremendous impact on the earth’s air, water, soil, and the health of people in cotton-growing areas.

That’s why (luckily) many environmental conscious brands are shifting to organic cotton. We made this decision, too. As of May 2021, we are shifting our whole loungewear/comfy production to 100% organic cotton fibres. But what is organic cotton? Click to read more...

Bamboo Fibre

Initially, bamboo was used for the hand-made production of paper. But thanks to modern manufacturing, bamboo pulp is now capable of creating bamboo fibre which can be used to make yarn and fabric - including our new underwear that will be part of our portfolio as of spring 2021.

Bamboo fabric is a natural textile made from the pulp of the bamboo grass, the bamboo fibre is then made by pulping the bamboo grass until it separates into thin threads of fibre, which is then spun and dyed for weaving into cloth.
